I have been playing around with this for oh so many layers... still not quite

 Adding purple..kind of sparks it up.. but still pretty flat... too much texture

I have begun play with concept of 2 color value palette 

mixing white and black with yellow and greens attempting to work 4 values.  

white, mid white, mid dark, black. 

 I enjoyed working this way.. had a lot of fun

Returned to mark making and it still looks the same
