I have been following the 9x9s of Hiroshi
Matsumoto for a while and just tried to do my own abstraction of this work... all are 4x4" painted with acrylic paint on wood blocks. Pretty much fun...
Think I will try to work on just paper and see where this leads.....
I love Hiroshi's work, on the web. Never seen it in person. Those teeny tiny pieces are 9x9 centimeters, so they are just shy of 4"x4". Are these on panel?
